Forest Scene

My intent was to create a forest path and
to give an impression of depth and
perspective.  I started with the key
tree shapes.

Although I am currently in the desert, my foremost images still relate to home....

I have been experimenting with using CMC as
a medium for glass powders -- and thought
to try creating some small branch detail with
this technique.

   

I used glass frit (ground or chopped glass)
to create the impression on leaves and path.

The outcome.  I will need to find a suitable stand for
displaying this piece which I am quite happy with.
